Sponsorship Proposal
Bhutan Network Operators Group (btNOG) is an informal group set up to provide an educational and operational forum for Internet network operators and interested professionals/engineers related to the Internet’s technologies and operational practices to discuss matters of mutual interest, exchange technical information and learning, and discuss specific implementation issues, usually through a combination of mailing list and annual meetings. btNOG is open to all ISPs and Internet related organizations in Bhutan and also from around the world. As such it has no owners, just a small group of dedicated individuals who look after the mailing list and organise the regular meetings.
The main objective is educational, but at the same time gives vendors and tech enthusiast a chance to talk about newer technology and products on the sidelines. ICT Community get to talk to each other about experiences, benefiting the entire community.
btNOG specially invites people from the community to contribute through being instructors and sharing experience. Network operators in the country are in nascent stage of development, and all such help will be valuable.

There are many ways you can help and support us. The standard means is by contributing a fixed amount of money that will be used to support the logistics and infrastructure for the conference in addition to supporting some national & international speakers. Other ways of supporting us are by contributing computing and network equipment required to provide access to the venue, providing Internet access at the venue, reception dinners for the speakers, business dinners for invitees and so on.
The standard sponsorship rates are given below. The last date for receiving the intent of sponsorship for btNOG6 is 30th March 2019.

Key Points about btNOG6
- btNOG6 is being hosted in Paro, Bhutan. This is the only major International Internet & networking technologies event in Bhutan.
- btNOG will be very important for sponsors as btNOG has now gained it’s own standing as the premier Internet & Networking event in the South Asian region after the successful event in the region.
- Participants from Bhutan have always formed a good contingent at all btNOGs. The recognition of the event is high in Bhutan and sponsors can expect maximum exposure to South Asian participants.
